The violence

There are only seven days to general elections. The elections will be held on 9th of August this year. Most of the people are waiting to see a transparent and honest election. Every Kenyan should now take this opportunity to preach and spread peace amongst themselves. These politicians should not spit out words that bring division among the citizens hence leading to unnecessary violence and hatred.
The post-election violence that has been witnessed in the past should be repeated this time. Communities fought against each other, people were killed and blood was shed. Kenyans forgot that there is life after the elections. Kenyans also have forgotten that these politicians that they fight tirelessly for do abandon them after they get the elective positions.
It is time for Kenyans to come back to their senses and realize the importance of peace because most of these politicians they fight for, their families are outside Kenya and enjoying life.
Youths should stop rioting causing destruction in the streets. Youths this is a wakeup call STOP being used. Remember when you die or get injured it is not politician’s son, daughter or even his/her family member.
Therefore, I take this opportunity to tell everyone to vote peacefully and spread peace everywhere and most importantly Kenyans should remember there is life after elections.
