The type of career one joins need to be based on his personal strengths and passions for that individual so that no matter what proportion of the subject he will study and retain you are assured that he will be able to innovate it and apply it in various fields.

In most of the developing countries professions like medicine, law and engineering are taken as prestigious in fact almost every top performer in the national exam is aspiring to join these disciplines. Disciplines like history, arts, anthropology and political science are not preferences of many of these extremely brilliant students yet studying these subjects form solid basis in understanding who one is as a person and where he is heading to after identifying his origins as well as what the society consists of and how it has been operating in the past.
These arts based disciplines also equip the scholars with a lot of soft skills necessary for interaction with the rest of society. A great platform to know and appreciate their culture and form solid basis to study all the other courses as ones knowledge base is broadened.

He will have a flexible mindset when dealing with the concepts acquired unlike untalented person in a certain field yet he has studied it as he will remain mechanical in what he learnt in class.
Personally I encourage people to attend school not because there are subjects that once studied and passed exams one will be considered as learned but due to the fact that by virtue of being in school one will be able to interact with other students, teaching and nonteaching staff and also know how institutions operate so that he too can easily and comfortably operate in such systems.
Learning what scholars think will equip you with skills to innovate on what they have already invented or criticize them with objectivity as you fully understand their processes.
Whatever product you have you can be one of its consumer while the rest of society are the other consumers any platform you have to interact with them and learn what they appreciate most will help you with information necessary to tailor-make your work in a way that suits them best.
Having interacted with others at various platforms including times that you are under their authority will help you to understand that much as you flourish in your field of talent there are other people who are shining in their respective disciplines hence see the need to appreciate them as much as they appreciate you.
You will also be able to know which other disciplines you can easily join forces with to further improve your work.
No talent is inferior no matter how unpopular it may be. The impact you have on other people is the one that will raise your popularity after those whose lives you have improved will be willing to testify making those you have not served to admire your work and be eager to seek for your services.
Appreciate what you have you not only satisfy the needs of your clients but you make your maker happy as you rightfully operation as per your natural configurations.
Aim at working towards maximizing your importance to others. This can be easily attained by occupying the position where you can innovate most and this is the field of your natural orientation.
