His power, the state he built, and his policy are known to the world. Alisher Navoi, known for his “Khamsa” epic, wrote in two languages.
Many more scholars: Samarkandi, Termizi, Bukhari, Mirzo Ulugbek, Zamakhshari, Motrudi and other scholars were among the centuries-old ancestors of our country.Historical monuments – a mirror of our spirituality After Uzbekistan gained independence, attention to the cultural and historical heritage left by our ancestors increased, and historical monuments were brought under state control.
In the years of independence, the monuments built by the great talent of our great ancestors in cities such as Bukhara, Samarkand, Termiz, Khiva, Tashkent, Ko’kan, Shahrisabz found their true value, their repair and restoration to their original form is a priority of our state policy. Became one of the directions.
Our accumulated history, auspicious places, monuments whose names have been forgotten have been repaired and restored. Memorial complexes worthy of the honor of our great scholars such as Imam al-Bukhari, Imam al-Tirmizi, Abu Mansur al-Moturudi, Ahmad al-Farghani, Burhoniddin al-Marginani, Mahmud al-Zamakhshari were created. Statues of Sahibqiron Amir Temur, Mirzo Ulugbek, Alisher Navoi in Tashkent, Jaloliddin Manguberdi in Urgench, and Alpomish in Termez were erected in Tashkent, Samarkand and Shkahrisabz.
Today, more than seven thousand monuments, including 2500 architectural monuments, more than 2700 monumental works of art are under state protection in our country.
