Schools are closed for the students both in primary and secondary schools leaving room for grade six, class eight and form fours who are going to sit for the Kenya National Examinations which are to start this week and for the primary education they will be done in one week and they will be joining others too for the holiday.
This is the longest holidays for students and parents need to be responsible with their children now that they are in their hands. They need to know their whereabouts every time, guiding them, making sure there wellbeing is good and even the kinds of friends their children have and they should make sure that they are given constructive activities to do so as to avoid idleness.
If all parents becomes responsible they would have taken care of a lot of negative things that this students may be engaged in during holidays.
