The Mt Kenya Times 
It is the year 2024, there is great expectations and hope expressed all over the world on major issues of life, projects, business, and many more. At the beginning of the year, with keen observation, you will notice that most Churches, believers begin with PRAYERS AND FASTING. This is very crucial as it sets the foundation and spiritual stamina which the entire year will operate on. I highly recommend this lifestyle to each individual(believer), group, company or community.
Let it be your lifestyle, I encourage you with this truth I have discovered: “You can pray and lack results, but with PRAYERS AND FASTING, it is IMPOSSIBLE NOT TO GET RESULTS. Consider Psalm 35:13 “so when we fasted and petitioned our God about this, and HE ANSWERED our prayer.” & Matthew 17: 20-21 “Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief;for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘move and it shall move; and NOTHING SHALL BE IMPOSSIBLE with you. HOWEVER, this kind does NOT GO OUT EXCEPT BY PRAYER AND FASTING.”
There is great power in a believer, consider Ephesians 1:19-23 : “And what is THE EXCEEDING GREATNESS OF HIS POWER to us-ward who BELIEVE, according to the working of His mighty power, “Which He wrought in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead, and set Him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, “Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: “And hath put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be the head over all things to the church, “Which is His body, the fulness of Him that filleth all in all”.
“Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven” (Matthew 18:18).
