Nyeri County Government presents Sh7.5 B budget
Nyeri County government CEC in charge of Finance and Economic Planning Robert Thuo yesterday presented to the local County Assembly the 2022/2023 budget proposal of Sh7.5 billion.
He presented the estimates at the Assembly Chambers in a session convened by the Speaker, John Kaguchia.
Governor Mwalimu Mutahi Kahiga and other senior officials of his administration also attended the event which is the last one ahead of the forthcoming General Election.
Of the Sh7.5 billion, 51 per cent will cater for Personal Emoluments 31 per cent to development activities and 18 per cent to Operations and maintenance.
