Bonchari UDA Mp Aspirant Ombeta sustains minor injuries in a road accident

Bonchari Aspirant Member of Parliament Cliff Ombeta under UDA party on Friday night suffered minor injuries after his car was blocked by unknown two vehicles and rammed into a ditch along Suneka airstrip road Kisii County.
Mr Ombeta was in accompanying of two, a driver and his board guard when he was involved in an accident while heading his home.
They were attended and discharged in a private hospital in Kisii County while the vehicle was towed to Gesonso police station.
Ombeta said that he was from a meeting when he was involved in an accident.
Confirming the incidence Kitutu Chache South OCPD Charles Machinji said that they have launched investigation over the matter.
Machinji said that the filder vehicle is now written off.
“We thank God, Ombeta is out of danger, “he said.
OCPD asked the public to maintain peace and cautioned some politicians with ill motive to respect one another as they carry on campaign.
However, Ombeta alleged that the incident might have been planned by someone with ill motives to cut off his ambition of becoming an Mp.
He urged his supporters to turn out in large number and vote for him on August 9 polls.
Ombeta advised youths not to be misused by some politicians to cause violence during this time as he pleaded to them to vote for a visionary leader.
Machinji assured the public of tight security during and after election.
