Parents should not pressurize their children for not making it to national schools

As KCPE results were announced by prof. George Magoha, students were able to figure out their positions and marks.
There are many students who managed to score 400marks and above and were appreciated in various forms, others taken for outs while others garlanded a special amount of money.
On the other hand, there are those who did not managed to meet their expectations for this reason or for that.
Parents should not discriminate their children and stop comparing them with others this makes a child feel neglected.
Failing of exams does not depict one’s foolishness, since this exam maybe challenge to them but afterwards they are stars in KCSE.
There is a large number of students who just managed to score 250 but after joining secondary school, they realized what they need to do and end up scoring an A in the final exam.
This is the right time for parents to decide the fate of their children by encouraging them not to give up.
But pressurizing them would not change anything but a child feel not loved and totally neglected.
This may even cause depression or some end up committing suicide for not meeting the target their parents had in mind.
It is important to note that in every battle there must be a winner and a looser. But it is better to give your child a chance in life. Take your children to secondary schools this will encourage them.
