Worth Noting:
- In a dream world one can see and hear many things. Some people incorporate these issues when narrating stories. Hearing of such people speak of such experiences as their real life ones it becomes difficult to establish whether the stories are real or fictional.
- In many communities they name and rename places and people among historical events or certain issues that occurred around that time the person or place was given the name. The same happens to age sets and age groups. The way people interpret the current times influence the names they use. However their understanding may not be the correct one. In times of drought some people are named after it.
Not all that is presented to us as history has really happened; and what really happened did not actually happen the way it is presented to us; moreover, what really happened is only a small part of all that happened.
Everything in history remains uncertain, the largest events as well as the smallest occurrence…………….. Johann Wolfgang von Goethe.
We have several theories that try to explain the origin of the earth some of them being the creation theory, the flat earth, the geocentric model, heliocentricity, galacticocentricity, the big bang, the Inflationary big bang. They are all important as they try to explain a certain time in history enabling us to imagine what could have happened then and the journey towards where we are.
They have different versions of explaining issues. One of the issues we can truly acknowledge about them is that all of them cannot be correct especially those that contradict each other however one cannot discredit them unless he provides alternate facts.
At young age we used to be narrated the stories of ogres which we were told could eat us if we go outside homesteads in late evenings or at night in absence of a grown up. When we grew up that is when we learnt that these stories were meant to discourage us from loitering at night securing us from dangers that may arise from such adventures. It was also notable that during the time we grew up there were no creatures like ogres near our homesteads.
Ogre a man eating giant is something that cannot be certainly established whether it really existed or was just an imagination. If it did exist one could wonder why they became extinct.

The same happens to age sets and age groups. The way people interpret the current times influence the names they use. However their understanding may not be the correct one. In times of drought some people are named after it. Over time the young generation may not be aware of such natural happenings so they may think of such a name as just a personal name perhaps a famous person who they can trace in their history.
The bad happenings in the history more so due to personal mistakes are rarely mentioned so those who will hear the story of what happened long time ago will miss some information especially the information was not witnessed by many people at the location where it occurred.
Oral information passed from one generation to another especially for a lengthy period may tend to be distorted as the previous narrators dilute the original version to put the one that suits them best.
In telling historical events the surrounding circumstances that existed then should be highlighted so that the context would be well understood and logical connection between the events and the surrounding circumstances need be established and seen concurring.
In life there is a cause and effect relationship and these should be there to be thoroughly analyzed to have a clear understand of the flow of issues.
Whatever happened in the past especially what cannot be physically measured today at times cannot be verified with certainty.
