Kenya Women Senators Association (KEWOSA), chaired by Sen. Veronica Maina yesterday convened a capacity-building meeting in Busia bringing together women Members of County Assembly (MCAs) from Busia, Bungoma and Siaya, as well as female County Executive Committee Members (CECs), Chief Officers, and the Secretary of the County Public Service Board (CPSB).
The session provided a vital platform for national and county women leaders to reflect on their roles in safeguarding devolution, promoting inclusivity and advancing the welfare of women at the grassroots.
Busia Governor Paul Otuoma who joined the forum commended KEWOSAβs efforts and echoed the senatorsβ call for a supportive society that values women.
