The Kenya Tea Development Agency (KTDA) Board and Management officials yesterday visited various hydropower generation stations which it initiated several years ago.
They made familiarisation tour of Gura station in Othaya constituency, Nyeri County, North Mathioya station in Murang’a county and Lower Nyamindi hydropower project in Kirinyaga county.
KTDA factories, have invested in hydropower plants to reduce the cost of energy used to power the factories & in effect enable tea farmers earn more money.
