Worth Noting:
- On the same seat, I was sitting, there was a girl next to me and she was also busy on her phone. So I got a phone call and the background was noisy, there was music so I had to go out and talk on the phone.
- I turned back looking through glasses I saw her sitting in the same place I was sitting and they were talking. I realized they were saying something about me and I knew it was that girl who brought up the topic about me so I came back in and they changed the topic to how Valentine’s Day going the to be great at Riverside.
A few months ago, I met a beautiful girl at a certain workshop. We were in one group about ten of us and we appointed her to be our group leader. The girl have leadership qualities, she was smart and spoke both Arabic and English fluently. She was an angel and the apple of everyone’s eyes; about three of us were crushing on her in our group. I could see from the eye contact the guys were making. I took her number and the following day I called her but she didn’t answer my calls so I was thinking maybe she was one of the big girls who don’t answer new numbers.
Three days later, I WhatsApp her and told her I was a guy at the workshop and she was like oh you never call me since you took my number and I was like yeah, I called you but you never pick up the call she said she was sorry and she doesn’t answer random numbers. I guess it correct. We vibe for some weeks and I made my intention known to her and she asked me whether I have a car or a good-paying job like Nilepet but I said none of that I’m just a street hustler and she said she doesn’t date broke boys.
It was a bitter truth to accept though I wasn’t broke as her conscience suggests, I don’t have a good-paying job. It was crazy how she expect me to have a car and work at Nilepet yet her elder brothers (one about my age and another one older than me) none of them have a car or work at Nilepet. In fact, I was better than them I have a motorcycle. I didn’t want to give up so I sent my friend who was her best friend and she told her that A GUY WITHOUT a CAR IS LIKE a NONLIVING THING to her. When I heard that I wasn’t happy the little boy inside me was hurt, I tried to text her again on WhatsApp but she blocked me.
A week ago, a friend of mine gave me his car to take for washing so I decided to get my hair done first before I take the car for washing. I went to MBC Salon, I found this girl sitting there, and she was getting her nails done. It was Nissan Petrol that I was driving, I parked a car across the street in front of the salon and entered the salon with the car’s key swinging on my trousers fly. As I entered, they were people before me so I had to sit and wait, so I sat and I was pressing my phone but the poor girl fixed her eyes on me as if I was sent from heaven.
On the same seat, I was sitting, there was a girl next to me and she was also busy on her phone. So I got a phone call and the background was noisy, there was music so I had to go out and talk on the phone. I turned back looking through glasses I saw her sitting in the same place I was sitting and they were talking. I realized they were saying something about me and I knew it was that girl who brought up the topic about me so I came back in and they changed the topic to how Valentine’s Day going the to be great at Riverside.
I didn’t mind them so I went to the barber and thirty minutes later, my hair was done. They were still sitting and talking. She could even point at me, which I saw in the mirror. When I was done I went out and entered the car and when I turned the car, I saw them standing out all looking at me with their jaws dropped open. It was like a miracle to them. I drove with my head up and took the car to the washing bay. A few hours later, my phone was floating with messages both on WhatsApp and SMS. She was like “Hello! I’m sorry I was rude to you the other time, I was going through something that’s why I spoke to you that way but now I’m ready to be with you at all costs and blah blah blah…..
And I said; “who is this?” And she replied; “it’s Christina the girl you met at the workshop.” And I told her that the car wasn’t mine and I was just sent to wash it and I’m still a broke boy and the NONLIVING THING at the same time but she said it doesn’t matter to her anymore and I said its okay… Don’t worry people change, it’s normal. I couldn’t believe it, it was the same girl who blocked me and I don’t even know what she was saying in Salon, coming to apologize to me. She was texting me day in and day out.
Today on Valentine’s Day, she texted me and asked if I had plans for Valentine’s Day, and I said I’m home, bored, and don’t know what I’m doing she asked where I do stay and I said a few minutes away from the salon, I was in TM Lion Hotel and she asked if she could come and I said yes and she said okay I’m coming… Quickly I went to bathe, got some nice perfume on and I turned on the AC to 16 rooms as chilled. In a few minutes, she called me and that she was at the gate I went to bring her in.
