Elders drawn from all over the country have announced that all preparations are set ahead of boys circumcision which coincides with the December holiday Countrywide.
Led by the National Patron Captain Kung’u Muigai, the elders highlighted the importance of embracing the cultural way and shunning Western trends some of which is slowly infiltrating in our society.
Captain Kung’u Muigai who led the elders in Nairobi noted:
“In the meeting which we held on Monday 16th October 2023, we discussed several issues top among them the readiness to conduct circumcision for our boys whose age set we shall name in due course. We have also discussed issues of national importance as well as some few issues like the issue of LGBTQ and as elders we are categorical that such trends are against our cultural norms and also alien to our community,” he noted.
He reiterated that the Kiama Kia Ma is solid and united and downplayed any rumors of divisions.
