After two embarrassing draws against Manchester united and Nottingham forest, Liverpool pulled themselves by hammering Brentford 2-0 on the weekend, Arne slot’s men seem to be alive by taking advantage of their rivals Arsenal who dropped points against Aston villa.
Many people didn’t expect Klopp’s successor to clinch on his first season, many EPL fans expected slot to struggle at first since it has been evidenced how many managers come in the league and face a hard time because EPL is a league with high intensity…as compared to managers from other leagues to EPL, the likes of Van Gaal, Mourinho, Ragnick failed to revive Manchester united to their 21st title.
With not much changes, Liverpool seem to maintain their balance since they have a quality squad for the depth .Second leg in the EPL always have been so tough ,teams always fight for their interest, those in the relegation also do their best thus affecting the results in the title contenders.
Liverpool is has turned the second leg of the EPL into a slaughter house as he has opened a big gap of 6 points with one game in hand.
The only way for teams like Arsenal and Nottingham forest have to make quality signings so that they can reduce the gap, because if they continue dropping points , Liverpool will easily clinch the title with above 90 points.
