Introduction – Ayurveda plays an important role in maintaining the health of an individual and Ayurveda has its own specific value women from teenage to Menarche to Menopause faces many health issues. Her life is full of challenges.
Among them Iron deficiency is one of the most common problems related to nutrition and has lasting effect on women’s health. Pandu Rog in Ayurveda has close relation with anemia. Well defined description is found in Samhitas with its effect on women’s health.
Project Streedhan is launched by government of India in 2019 to make women aware of their own life where gold is corelated with health of women. In India in year 2020 around 50% of pregnant women aged 15 to 49 were anemic. 810 women approximately die every day from preventable causes related to pregnancy and childbirth.
25795000 women died of maternal causes in 2017 and 3110000 women 2018 from cervical cancer more than 85% of these deaths occurring in low and middle-income country. According to UNPF between years 2011 to 2020 more than 140 million girls became child write this directly affected the physical and psychological growth of teenage girl.
Method -Teenage is marked as a challenging stage. This event is also marked as root cause of various diseases drugs like Shatavari, Dashmoolarisht should be given to have a healthy life and normal menstrual cycle. Conceiving and giving birth to new one is marked as a significant event in women’s life. After delivery Sutika paricharya mentioned by Aacharya should be strictly follows to have a healthy Motherhood. Pipli ,Chavya,Chitrak ,Shunthi with Anupaan of ghrit must be served to sutika.
Conclusion– So it can be observed that since the very ancient times, it was given importance to have good care of female right from her birth at each and every stage of life even Samitas stated and described female care in terms of various female related lifestyles and regimes as Parichayras and in Modern Times also various programs are running to take care of female health considering Women’s health – a pillar of society.
