Bahati MP Highlights Milestones of 2024 and Pledges Continued Progress

As the curtains fall on 2024, Bahati Member of Parliament has celebrated a year marked by significant strides in development and infrastructure. In a statement reflecting on the year’s achievements, the MP emphasized the transformative progress made in the constituency despite resource limitations.
“This year stands as a remarkable chapter for Bahati,” the MP stated. “We upgraded long-promised roads to bitumen standards, drilled boreholes, built classrooms, connected homes to electricity, awarded thousands of bursaries, installed security lights, constructed police posts and stations, empowered hundreds through TVETs, and secured increased national funding for development.”
The MP underscored the impact of these initiatives, acknowledging the persistent challenges of underdevelopment that have historically held the constituency back. However, with concerted effort and prudent use of resources, Bahati has begun to bridge the development gap with the rest of the country.
“Despite limited resources, we’ve made significant strides in bridging the development gap. Politics will always shift, but the infrastructure we are building will serve generations to come,” the MP added.
The leader reaffirmed their unwavering commitment to continuing this momentum in the coming year, aiming to sustain and accelerate the pace of development in Bahati.
“Bahati has long been left behind, but I remain committed to accelerating our progress in 2025 and beyond. Together, we’ll keep building a brighter and more developed constituency,” the MP concluded.
