For the post-doctoral professor in Portuguese Language and Brazilian Literature, Beni Dya Mbaxi’s works were highlighted for the relevance of the themes focused on the universe of African women’s education, even in the 21st century, and she emphasised the clear and objective language in which she approaches delicate topics. We read about serious and taboo subjects even today, but with the lightness that the author imbues in his aesthetic. He goes on to say;
that literary works from any region should be studied because they are an expression of man in his time. It expresses the values, questions and desires of the time in which it is set.
