Broken covenants are still a major cause of problems, because our God is a COVENANT KEEPING GOD. These covenants are made by us, our forefathers, people in marriages, in transactions etc. At times we make vows and covenants to God, ESPECIALLY WHEN WE ARE IN TROUBLE! Consider Romans 3: 30’ There is only ONE GOD and He makes people right with Himself ONLY BY FAITH, whether Jew or Gentiles. 31’ Well then,if we emphasize faith, does it mean we can forget about the law? Of course NOT! In fact,only when we have faith do we TRULY FULFILL THE LAW.” and always remember, “…no one is righteous, no, not one” Romans 3:23 “ For all have sinned…”(Romans 3:10).
According to God, the cure for some problem, like sickness in the immediate family, was to deal with the problem in the society. Do NOT be neglectful, but rather stand in the gap for others. Know that GOD DOES NOT FORGET THE THINGS WE SAY TO OR PROMISE HIM in whatever situation we find ourselves in. Note, you should NOT only look at the present problems, which might only be indicators of a past issue; rather, dig deeper to the root cause. The Bible say curses which have no cause cannot affect you. On the contrary, those with cause must be corrected by ASKING FOR FORGIVENESS
Apostle Kimani William states, “In my journey of faith, I have come to realize that God calls us differently and for a specific assignment. Depending on his unique assignment to those He calls, He may influence some individuals to enter into covenants with him. Such covenants may vary from one person to another, but may include: how those He calls must conduct themselves so that He may accomplish what He desires through them without any interference. Therefore it is important to understand that ministries are not the same, some ministries carry mandates which require a high level of discipline and integrity.
“It is always good to seek to align ourselves with new visions and mandates with its pattern,”. a good example is Joseph and Daniel( Read and meditate on this book) , their mandate was so high and so they were to conduct themselves with high discipline, integrity and faithfulness, even if it meant harm/ persecution to them. God was with them to help, strengthen them to overcome, and indeed they did, and so shall we in Jesus Christ mighty name: Amen
