The rate at which university students are getting unwanted pregnancies is alarming. Most of these students you find out that they are regards as mature people by their parents and society since they are in campus.
Such assumptions make the parents have little or no time of advising their children on how to live while at school.
In most of the traditions and cultures in various communities, you realize that it’s a taboo for parents to discuss sexual matters with their children.
They are therefore left on their own advice and understanding of such matters which later leads them to downfalls and troubles.
If parents can be affording and creating time with their children, there can be rare cases of unwanted pregnancies. Students should also take caution of how they behave and avoid unnecessary peer pressure for their safety.
