It is apparent that values have hit the rock bottom; this is fueled by a dead conscience and leads to the balatant moral decay.
Children of today play music and games online on Sunday ne go to Sunday soccer or relax instead of going to virtue booster arena lessons at church.
Religion or religious setup promotes values such as those virtues are upheld consistently in the society and then turn into norms. It is fashionable to seclude oneself and to be sarcastic online or physically which was not the case in the past as the family setup was concerned with the virtues and anybody going against the principles of respect, love and humility was punished by being set aside for sometime at church or simply at the ward level one was reprimanded accordingly and a child belonged to the society, anyone seeing a child misbehaving as an adult would punish the child or reprimand it. There was no room to report at home, as the parents would condemn that rascal behavior. Now things have changed, one would sue anyone who reprimanded their children without being allowed.
The independent parenting, not community collective parenting sent a gap that only drugs and alcohol abuse fill, making vices to thrive and more forms of illicit behavior.
Things are falling apart, relatively relationships are nurtured by strong emotional abuse and violence such that bystanders do not dare have a say, it is a complete cry for help as governments are losing millions on awareness campaigns in order to correct what is broken when everything has shifted from family level when raising kids to socialization at school.
Teachers are having a hard job, the kids are too much privileged and teaching them is a great challenge because some unruly ones cannot be reprimanded with corporal punishment not condoned, the environment gets toxi and the yoke not easy at all.
Reforms are being made, Ethics taught in schools and moral education but it is still a long way to rehabilitate the rebellious minds of technology raised kids, because they are barely attentive to the shabby teacher without the fancy clothes like their influencers online.
