“Integrity”, is telling oneself the TRUTH while “Honesty”, is telling the truth to other people. It includes accepting our mistakes and rectifying it. It’s the highest form of intimacy one can entrust- a power that very few can handle. It’s often hard but the freedom and trust it bestowes, is worth the try. All expect it from others, but very few can deliver it.
In relationships, trust is the foundation on which everything is built. Success depends on honesty. Secrets never destroys things but the suspicion of secrets do, especially when the suspicions are confirmed. Transparency reduces corruption. But good governance leads to openness which means decision making involving the concerned duo. It’s the right to information involving participation.
An honest person is often misread. An honest approach/confession is mostly regarded as foolishness, in this World full of Fake and Sinous People. Honest people fall an easy prey for the malicious ones who do not hesitate to victimize/exploit/manipulate this honest trait, to vindicate their own wrongdoings.
Honesty suffers as the feeling arises, “Why Be Honest When Honesty Does Not Pay!” It makes one vulnerable.
But remember, an honest person may not win a lot of friends, but will definitely have the Right Ones. An honest heart can only produce honest actions. The most free person in the World is the one Who has Nothing to Hide. It is the first chapter to Wisdom- “A Journey Within.” There’s just some magic in truth and honesty and openness.
Don’t we all want a Positive and a Great World?
Start from YOU!
“BE HUMANE ANYWAY.”
Remember, “The High Road is always Respected. Honesty and Integrity are always Rewarded”. It’s between You and God Anyway- THE ULTIMATE JUDGE.
