The Commission on Revenue Allocation (CRA) has appointed Roble Said Nuno as its new Commission Secretary and Chief Executive Officer following a competitive recruitment process.
In a statement issued, CRA Chairperson Mary Wanyonyi Chebukati said the appointment was conducted in accordance with applicable recruitment laws and procedures.

The recruitment exercise included psychometric assessments and oral interviews held at the Kenya School of Government in Lower Kabete on May 14, 2026, attracting several highly qualified candidates.
The Commission said Roble brings extensive experience in public financial management and leadership, qualities expected to strengthen the institution in executing its constitutional mandate on revenue sharing and fiscal management.
CRA further noted that the recruitment process adhered to principles of transparency, meritocracy, and integrity.
“The Commission extends its appreciation to all candidates who participated in the process and reaffirms its commitment to transparency, meritocracy, and integrity in all its recruitment exercises,” the statement read.
The appointment comes at a time when the Commission continues to play a critical role in advising on the equitable sharing of revenue between the national and county governments, as well as among county governments.
CRA is one of the key constitutional commissions established under the Constitution of Kenya to promote fair resource allocation and strengthen fiscal decentralization across the country.
