Data Restrictions Should Be Abolished

By: Ruth Chepyatich

With the introduction of the new technology majority of the things are done online and thus data is of more use since you can browse the internet and get latest updates. But the questions of many Kenyans are why do they restrict the usage of the data yet they use their own money to buy it? You can buy data then they restrict you that only one hour or even thirty minutes. What if you get something to do within that period? So annoying.

Everyone deserves an enjoyment of what he/she likes, if they find leisure browsing the internet allow them do so.

Recently, education in higher institutions like the universities and colleges are done online, and thus data is required for the students to access learning, if now the data is restricted for an hour or less and yet learning takes more than two hours, will it really be efficient?

This has resulted to poor learning if the students cannot access the school wifi.

It is the hope of Kenyans that the company responsible (SAFARICOM) for the case of many should put this under consideration and grand them their wish to enjoy their internet.
