The much publicised Pool game tournament ended on Monday night with winners walking away with cash and assorted prizes worth millions of shillings.
David Mbuthi was declared the winner after beating hundreds of players who took part in the four day event.
Tamasha Lounge, Eldoret played host to the tournament that has been touted as the biggest ever, for Pool game in the East African region.
At the end, the tournament sponsors; Base Yetu handed the winners cheques and other assorted merchandise.
Base Yetu Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Nick Mararo gave Mbuthi his cheque worth Sh500,000 to the amusement of other players, guests and his friends.
On the other hand, Mister Kibet of the hosting lounge gave the best Lady winner Ms Mercy Khasandi her cheque worth Sh200,000.
Dozens of other players were also awarded various cash prizes as well merchandises.
The tournament brought to an end a series of tournaments carried out throught the country, courtesy of Base Yetu, a private entity that has been promoting the game as a sport.
Mararo said his firm will continue supporting Pool game as well other sporting activities in the new year and beyond.
