Dr. Ekrah Ndungu is the CEO German Institute of Professional Studies

The Chief Executive Officer of the German Institute of Professional Studies Dr. Ekrah Ndungu has added her voice on International Women’s Day and wished fellow women well.
Dr. Ekrah is a living example of women who are breaking the glass ceiling and erasing the word “impossible” from their diction. She is a go-getter, and very hardworking, and once her blessed hands touch something, it turns into Gold.
Dr. Ekrah, a woman of substance, highlighted the importance of Closing gender gaps in leadership.
“This is key to achieving the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, more so the achievement of gender equality and empowerment of women and girls. Empowering women and protecting the most vulnerable in society through the establishment of legal and institutional frameworks that support equal participation, should be reinforced more so in a society where women still suffer from discrimination, physical abuse including sexual abuse, and being kept in the periphery when matters of national interests are discussed.
Dr. Ekrah also believes there’s a need to structure development programs that take into account gender-responsive planning and budgeting.
“It is also imperative for us to tackle maternal mortality and high rates of teenage pregnancies, that have been hampering women from achieving the best,” noted Dr. Ekrah
“To all women out there,I am wishing you strength, courage, and determination as you pursue your dreams and aspirations. Remember, you are capable of achieving anything you set your mind to.” “May the women of today continue to empower the women of tomorrow, shaping a world where gender equality is not just a dream, but a reality. As the theme of this year is inspiring inclusion.
