The sun jogs in its socket,
Serenading the wounded earth
With her lashing rays.
The moon kisses the blistering
Ends of time
And mourns the death of another season.
The stars converge,
To bury another fallen galaxy
That sunk into oblivion.
The clouds race around the crater
Of time’s hollow volcanoes,
To mark an end to this madness.
The squinched moon
Terrified by the approaching summer
Falls by the wayside
With dreams rotting in the once
Prolific womb,
Shadows lurk behind dulcet memories
Mocking hope’s pragmatism.
The comely morning rays cornered
In mortality’s eclipse dent
Biding farewell to its past time.
Behind shadows of slidding memories
Cling on the wounds of the varying time,
The once spirited galaxy
Weep black tears as it tumbles to other
Inundated, barren seasons!
