George Wachiuri (in blue suit) with some of mentees attached to his firm, Optiven
By George Wachiuri
My request to all SMEs, corporates, NGOs, business community, and all those who love young people.
I have only one request. Yes. Only One. To those reading this message and those who own or run businesses.
Let’s open up our doors and give all our young people a chance to test-drive in our organisations
Optiven has started this journey and we are now doing COHORT 2 of 30 graduates from various colleges and universities.
How it can Work
- We request that this message is made available and reaches all 1.7 million registered companies in Kenya.
- If each company took only 1 graduate mentee, we will have in essence taken care of 1.7 million graduates!
- And if each takes two, we will have taken care of 3.4 million graduates and they will get the right experience.
- And if each absorbs 10 graduate mentee? 17 million are taken care off. This is going to be extraordinarily! We will even end up searching for more graduate mentees from East African region and beyond.
Let’s do this Good People!
