This was the pilot project made possible by Ms Anthea Thyssen to bring awareness on nature as the reason to give back to the Earth. Her concerns is very clear that she’s all about cleanliness, health, mental and spiritual fitness because she’s a conscious mother, citizen, writer/published author/ poet/ motivational speaker and the founder of AfriCAN Global Annual Global Authors’ Honoree Awards that is normal hosted by her on her birthday so that she can serve ordinary people who are doing extraordinary things by telling their own untold stories.

Anthea Speech:
I, Anthea Thyssen, a Global Child born and bred in Alkebulan and resides in Azania. My DNA has no borders, my culture is diverse and my heritage is so rich.
How can I say RICH? Because they came, they looted and they have depleted our natural resources and today is the day to say this will stop because we will collectively take ACTION. We are living in darkness right now in Azania, a continent with so much sun.
AfriCAN children know who YOU are, know what you EAT, Know what you Drink, know what you use and KNOW how you are contributing or destroying Mother Earth. Know that We are made in Alkebulan and Azania and not in China. A tree knows its ROOTS!
Fifty years ago, the first Earth Day started an environmental revolution. Today, Earth Day has turned into an education revolution to save the planet. I am focusing today on Alkebulan, my question is what have I done? Currently we have floods in Kwa Zulu Natal.
This is the TIME to recognise our collective responsibility to help accelerate the transition to an equitable, prosperous green economy for all. Africa has ECO geniuses but they are silenced on the continent.
It’s time to reap the benefits of a green economy by adopting it. All governments need to encourage society, institutions, and businesses to build a framework for supporting a stable future, we are seeing the real effects and the TRUTH not enough or nothing was done. We need to face the TRUTH that little has been done that is why we are experiencing the aftermath of our Actions in the past.
Climate change represents the biggest challenge to the future of humanity and the life-support systems that make the world habitable. The Earth and its ecosystems are our home. To achieve a balance among the economic, social, and environmental needs of present and future generations, it is necessary to promote harmony with nature and the Earth.
Now is the time for the unstoppable courage to preserve and protect our health, our families, and
Our livelihoods. Let us RESPECT Mother Nature.
The actions we can take from today, and implement it everyday.
- Be part of the change. Change your diet to fight climate change.
- Reduce meat consumption to curb carbon emissions from the livestock industry.
- Consumer demand for renewable energy sources is one of the most immediate actions to lower carbon footprint and restore the earth.
- Stop deforestation, use less paper
- Calculate personal carbon footprint and make changes to reduce it.
- Use environmentally friendly, non-toxic cleaning products to avoid washing toxic chemicals down the drain. We are a “Handy Andy”, Big houses and big cars nation. We should become Conscious and practice Conscious Consumerism. Purposeful Purchases are what can save our planet.
- Individual and small group clean-ups can have a major positive impact on the community.
- Save electricity and turn off lights when leaving the room.
- Integrate a simple act of green into your daily routine. Take a shorter shower and use a water-saving shower head.
We need to act, innovate, and implement TODAY!
Let’s do our part, for today and for the future – Let’s RESPECT Mother EARTH!
