If the Uzbek does not read Navoi, that’s why the golden head is bald. Not Bedil and loved Demyan Bedni,
That’s why the black hair became a blonde.
If an Uzbek doesn’t read Navoi, That’s why shout is a fool.
Plays and laughs without enlightenment,
that’s what he was doing when he was in trouble.
If an Uzbek does not read Navoi,
It is deceived,to be “alla”.
If plucking dear and connoisseur is despised,
That is why the paitava¹ is a turban.
If the hand is not perfect,
The country is not great,
that’s what worthless neighborhood is.
This is why a heart full of light is a people’s sustenance,
And a barn full of grain.
If he realizes his Uzbek identity,
That is what he is blessed with. That’s why the voice of Navoi’s son was heard in the world.
