It is always every highschool student dream to pass their national examinations and join mighty higher learning institutions particularly the universities.Unfortunately ,it is not every student that manages to meet the requirements or the minimum grade for the entry to the university.
However,there is always that small percentage that manage to do well and get privileged to join.While joining every student carrys a huge list of the things they want to achieve at the ended of their learning timeline.cases of students making uninformed decisions on the courses they want to pursue are not uncommon.This happens as a result maybe one did not perform in accordance to the career he /she had passion in.This leads to having students not learning what their passion is for the sake of being recognized as university students in their residential areas.
At the start a great percentage start well by adhering to consequentive class attendance,doing and submission of assignments and responding when needed.With time the interest decreases slowly as students start seeing classwork being tiresome or depriving them time for themselves.Eventually the feeling of giving up overwhelms them and end up having the don’t care attitude.This gives birth to situationship where students start running up and down when exam period nears trying to cover what they were supposed previously.At the end of it all they end up cheating in their exam to avoid failing due to unpreparedness.
It is unfortunate that students do not realize they are loosing it all since they have no time to gain knowledge and skills required in their field of specialization even after draining their parents and guardians finances.It is true that majority get to graduate since they passed their examinations but not as qualified personnels in the field they are expected to work.
This has led to the unemployment cases across the country despite having several graduates.We end up blaiming the government without checking where we have failed.If graduates lack skills,they shouldn’t expect getting employed.
Students in the universities should take caution and venture in their main business in school.By doing so they will avoid frustrations of tarmacing after completing their study timelines.It should be about gaining the necessary knowledge and skills but not pleasing fellows with befeating graduation ceremonies.
