In a significant move to improve access to secure home services, the Kenya Alliance of Resident Associations (KARA) has signed a
Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Bingwa.ke. This partnership introduces an innovative solution designed to benefit Neighborhood and Resident Association members across Kenya.
KARA, the apex body representing the voice and pro-active action of Resident Associations in Kenya, has long been an advocate for better services at the neighborhood, county, and national levels. With the introduction of Bingwa.ke, members now have access to skilled services through a secure and safe platform.
The Bingwa.ke platform is designed to offer convenience and security, featuring digital traceability of service providers. This ensures that residents can access reliable and vetted services, enhancing the overall safety and satisfaction of homeowners. Qualified service providers who are members of KARA will also benefit from this partnership. The platform offers dignified and fulfilling work opportunities, providing young, skilled, reliable, vetted, and certified Kenyans with employment. This initiative not only supports the local economy but also ensures that residents receive top-notch services from trusted professionals.
Speaking during the signing, former EACC Chairman, Mumo Matemu, who was the Guest speaker said that the partnership will improve the economic output of Kenya by optimizing the productivity of its young workforce as well as enhance social
development by providing meaningful engagement opportunities for Generation Z Youths.
“Our mission to reduce unemployment by 0.7% in 365 days,” he added.
Njihia Njoroge CEO and founder Bingwa services noted that they are not just talking, they are also acting to restore and reconcile. the pain of youth as well as the pain of missed opportunities which will come to an end through this partnership.
“Our partnership with KARA is not just about connecting service providers with residents, it’s part of our larger vision to transform Kenya’s economic and social landscape by harnessing the potential of our skilled Generation Z youth.” Njoroge noted
The MOU signing ceremony highlighted the shared commitment of both organizations to improve the quality of life for residents by leveraging innovative digital solutions. This collaboration is expected to set a new standard for home services in Kenya, ensuring
that residents can access skilled professionals safely and conveniently.
