Ogamba praised YSK for enriching the festival with its 7th National Science and Technology Exhibition, which showcased the scientific talents and research capabilities of Kenyan youth from every corner of the country. He emphasized that this platform not only highlights the achievements of young innovators but also ignites the spark of scientific curiosity among the next generation of researchers.
He also commended the leadership of the National Research Fund (NRF), led by Prof. Ratemo Michieka, for collaborating with YSK to create a vibrant environment for discourse, innovation, and celebration of research. The festival’s success, he noted, is a testament to the collective efforts of various stakeholders, including researchers, educators, and corporate partners, who contributed to the event’s dynamic learning sessions and exhibitions across diverse scientific fields.
He further acknowledged the significant contributions of the private sector and development partners, whose financial and logistical support were instrumental in realizing the festival.
