Taita Taveta Woman Representative Haika Mnene Mizighi shares a light moment with Ruiru MP Simon King'ara
The calm, soft-spoken, industrious, brilliant, kind, charismatic and bold Ruiru Member of Parliament Honorable Simon Ng’ang’a King’ara has added another feather and accolade to his credit.
The legislator who is serving a second consecutive term in Ruiru Constituency is now the Vice Chairperson of the newly constituted Diaspora Affairs and Migrant Workers Committee of the National Assembly.
Mr. King’ara is deputising Taita Taveta County Woman Representative Hon. Lydia Haika Mnene Mizighi, who was elected as chairperson.
The formation of the migrant workers committee comes at an opportune time when Kenyans have been pondering owing to rising allegations of Kenyan migrant workers mistreatment in Gulf Countries.
