Kisii jubilee team have urged Electoral Independent Electoral Boundaries Commission and security officers to take action to some politicians who disrupts others public rally meetings.
This was after the teams were stoned while on their roadshow preparing themselves ahead of campaigns.
It’s alleged that the act was organized by some competitors with intent to disrupt the meeting and causing chaos.
Addressing the press gubernatorial candidate Chris Obure said that every candidate has a freedom to exercise democracy in campaigning and termed the act as erroneous.
Mr Obure said that the country has aged from any act of violence and the perpetrators should be arrested and face the law.
“We are in peaceful country, we are in democratic, we cannot allow some individual to move us back from where we have come from,”Mr Obure said.
He said that the stern action should be taken to prevent tainting the name of the county.
He cited that some competitors have been holding their meetings peaceful, why is it that when they have started theirs and is being disrupted?
Mr Obure said those seeking top political seats should be allowed to sell their agenda in any part of the country, without being intimidated.

Mr William Mbaka deputizing Obure said that some self-interest politicians should desist from taking advantage of desperate youth by hiring them to perpetrate violence.
He urged politicians instead of using the youths they should create job opportunities and empower them to brighten their future.
Ms Peris Onsarigo, woman rep aspirant said that, such acts that what makes many of the women not to vie for political seats.
Ms Onsarigo said that women and children are more vulnerable to insecurity threats before engaging in violence, we should think twice about.
The team urged the security officers to tighten security during the campaigns
The team vowed that they will not be shaken over that act, they will ensure that they sell their manifestos to the voters who will decide whom they will vote for August 9.
They urged the voters to elect them and they will ensure that they will more development in the county.
