Successful strategies to prevent adolescent pregnancy include community programs to improve social development, responsible sexual behavior education, and improved contraceptive counseling and delivery. Many of these strategies are implemented at the family and community level.
The family physician plays a key role by engaging adolescent patients in confidential, open, and nonthreatening discussions of reproductive health, responsible sexual behavior (including condom use to prevent sexually transmitted diseases), and contraceptive use (including the use of emergency contraception). This dialogue should begin before initial sexual activity and continue throughout the adolescent years.
Where the a girl has been raised well by parents or guardian, with good moral values and parents being a model to their daughters and in that they have are being taught by their parents on effects of teenage pregnancy through counseling the girl will tend to behave good in the society . So not only they use measures to prevent pregnancy but also parental care and support is also a major prevention. And also boda boda who lure our girls so that they engaged in sexual activity then they give pregnancy to the girl child should also be taken action serious .by facing a law that is strict. Again In school, students should also be taught on topics relating on teenage pregnancy where they give out effects and this Will help out adolescent girls to keep away having sex.
