Manchester united remains the only unbeaten side in Europe this season as far as the Uefa champions and the Europa leagues are concerned.
United’s co-owner sir jimmy Ractliff admitted in the recent interview that there was a mistake in managerial, the thing that forced them to hire a coach in the mid of the season.
These changes saw the team transiting from bad to worse as they are fighting to enter top ten while the season is almost ending.
Playing better football in the Europa league can see Manchester united getting passed their rivals Olympic Lyonnaise in the quarter finals and cement their slot in the semifinals, by then they can receive a major boost from their sidelined players.
Ruben Amorim and his men know that they have a shortcut to play the champions league and they will be fighting for the chance thus reviving their name among the big teams, also securing this slot will also boost the club’s finances at a smaller rate as compared to the seasons they have been away in the tournament.
Giving the fact that united under Amorim have not done much with the transfers, they can lure good players during the summer if they win the Europa league which will be their direct entry for the champions league because many good players admires playing the tournament most.
The tournament still have very strong teams which can pause a challenge to the Red devils like the likes of Lazio, Tottenham and Athletico Bilbao who also have higher chances in the fight .
Getting past Real Sociedad may encourage united that Europa league this season is their thing, therefore they need to play hard because this is the only cup that can turn their season around.
