Reknown psychological counsellor Gladys Chania can now breathe a sigh of relief after obtaining freedom albeit on bail terms. Chania is alleged to a suspect in the murder of her husband George Mwangi.
On Monday, Madam Chania was freed on one million cash bail and two sureties of the same amount.
This is after the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) failed to substantiate the allegations linking the respected family counsellor Madam Chania to the gruesome murder.
By jumping into conclusion, the security apparatus denied the widow time to mourn her beloved husband but now she can at least do so and also take part in according him a decent send off
The late Mr George Mwangi met his untimely death two weeks ago when the assailants dumped his lifeless body in Kieni forest.
Today at Kiambu high court when she appeared Chania looked thoughtful and as a counsellor and a leader she is, one could only wonder what’s going on in her mind.
She hopes and prays that as she prepares to bid the final goodbye to her husband, justice shall prevail and the concerned criminals will be brought to book.
