Melt

Four blocks of ice fell into fresh water.
They refused to leave the surface
As if pushed across the seam,
In a one-sided divorce.
Blue and white merciless,
Highlighted them to the limelight.
From this vantage point the dots inside were all white and shone within the core.
As the bare border of subzero,
with its warmer cousin made love,
More and more children, Unreal dreamy dust,
Set free from the head,
At midnight,
Well-lit,
As if consciousness was divided and distributed,
According to the will.
Some descended to the deep shallows,
As, Some escaped into transient freedom.
Devoid of the seams,
The self is one.
