I am Motlatsi Richard Motshubi Popularly known as La’Montie25 on Stage. I am A 25 years old Artist doing Hip Hop/Motswako from Botswana, Shoshong, Staying In The Capital Gaborone
What’s your contribution to African literature?
My Contribution towards literature will be how I Use My Mother Language Setswana In My Songs Because Most of The Time I Write In Setswana & My Writing Includes big Words in Setswana and a lot Of Poetry in It.

The Challenges i faced as an Artist are as follows
*Lack Of Resources
*No Proper Management
4.I Suggest Our Craft Should Be taken serious since its a diamond to this Country. I BELIEVE The Entertainment industry Can Boost Boost Botswana Economy.

Well what I can Say is i’ve worked really hard to present myself and my craft to the people.I’ve made songs with a lot Of upcoming Artists &Other Artist Like Me.The Likes Of DRASTIC ,DUZBOI,RAVEN TLADI,and Different producers in The Country.I’ve also worked with some International Artists.

I have 1,485 followers of my facebook page La’Montie25 & 400 followers on Instagram.& again My Music is recognized in countries like Malawi,Zambia & South Africa
Your take on collaboration?
Well I Believe African Collaborations can contribute so much in Building in art,culture and literature because we can exchange culture & learn other cultures & languages which we can use in our craft
Does your country support art?
Our Country Support the industry am in but we’re really not satisfied…Its Not Enough
Who is your mentor?
Well I look Up To the Late Thuto Dramaboi “Ramphaleng”. But most of all I Inspire myself.

I can tell Upcoming Artists to believe in theirselves & workhard to archive their dreams & goals.
