Many revelers went to Kwa Ncici restaurant to witnes the third MFAAL 2023, an annual literature awards event for poets and book makers as well as authors in Africa.
Angola did not make it, Tanzania and Lesotho to the event due to financial constraints.
Namibia’s prince of Kalakuta serenaded the crowd with his beautiful poetry, and his brother Keamogetsi Molapong gave us a piece of marvelous poetry and was the videographer of the day.
Goodwill Tlokwe the great was the man of the night, he made the welcome remarks and gave two set of poetry.
Anthony Molosi made sure that the event happened and he was the master of ceremony and did a splendid job.
Mrs Winnie Mpala opened with a prayer, and came with Lea’s secret her book about anti bullying which kept the people glued to the tables.
Dr Paula gave an awakening speech about regional unity and integration as well as more collaborations for authors to have one voice and the poets.
It was a beautiful moment when Sidos a maun born author gave us her well prepared piece of poetry.
Emmanuel Tshuma, from Botswana, Boni Millias and katlego Molebatsi were amongs few Batswana who win the awards.
