Sometimes, if you ask what a person’s best quality is, I would say it is the skill they have mastered so deeply that it becomes a part of their very being, beyond their knowledge and practice.
The work of seamstresses—who hold a needle and thread in their hands and wear around their necks the tape measure that counts the moments of life—is among the most demanding of crafts. Miracles emerge from the hands of a person who can unite the taste of the client with their own artistry. Among such gifted individuals is Asadova Guloyim Qahhorovna, the head of the “Sewing” circle at the Barkamol Avlod Children’s School of Romitan district, Bukhara region, who today teaches this craft to many young people.
It is true that this profession, inherited from mothers, encouraged the sisters in the family from a young age to step onto this path. Indeed, the family is a sacred stronghold, and being a teacher is an everlasting honor. If one can attain both, then they can truly call themselves a possessor of great happiness.
Amid her sweet responsibilities, our heroine has been studying for five years at Bukhara State University in the field of “Technological Education.” She is employed by School No. 20 of Romitan district and the district Barkamol Avlod Children’s School, fulfilling all her duties completely and on time.
Perhaps my prayers have accompanied my daughter on her journey. Every mother wishes that her children study, become happier than she is, and reach greater heights. What I want to say to my daughter and to girls like her is this: approach your work with your heart, let your affection make it blossom. The achievements of your students will be your achievements, and their happiness your happiness.
With the sincerity of my thirty-five years of experience and memories, I can say with full confidence: pure intentions truly do come true. Step forward boldly. Believe in yourself. You are the women who embody the essence of the Uzbek identity. Hold your head high. The rise of the family and society is inseparable from you. May your knowledge and skills always grow!
Honorary teacher of the Romitan district Barkamol Avlod Children’s School,
Gaybullayeva Hurmat.
