The youth crime rate is rising rapidly in many countries. What are the reasons for this trend? What can parents and teachers do to solve it?
Nowadays, bringing up children well requires much dedication. It is clear that crime level among young generation is on the rise. I tend to think that the main reasons behind this scenario could be lack of parental control and peer pressure. To tackle this issue caretakers should involve more in their activities and teachers can repeatedly explain the differences between good and evil.
On the main culprits for this problem can be that parents cannot give their focus on childrens behavior. This is because most of them are busy to make a living abroad. This dictates many children grow up on their own or their elderly grandparents who usually pamper them. The possible result is that children feel independent to do any activity without a thought. Another possible reason is social pressure. This means people in their teen years are prone to imitate their fellows actions and sometimes have trouble to resist friends temptations.
As every lock has its key, I believe this issue can be prevented (addressed) (solved) by taking some measures. First and foremost, parental observation can play a pivotal role to improve their behavior. It does not mean that they always control their activities but by setting good role models, they help their kids to develop good ways of habits. Secondly, most time of children is spent at schools. That is to stay, teachers can help them to correct their mistakes. They should explain possible outcomes of certain behavior. It is also shown with real-life examples. This can even be strengthened through organized trips to prisons.
In conclusion, incidents among youngsters tend to happen more frequently due to the fact that parents give much less attention to their children and friends have an adverse impact on each others mindset. In my opinion, with the support of parents and teachers, it can be avoided.
