Nyeri Governor Mutahi Kahiga has received a prestigious award and a certificate of his long and loyal service to the Agricultural Society of Kenya. (A.S.K).
The award and the commemorative certificate was graciously approved by the A.S.K Patron who is also the Head of State President William Ruto last November.
The Patron’s award is in recognition of 20 years’ service to the A S.K. organisation.
The A.S.K team led by the National Chairperson Annabelle Kirinya and Chief Executive Batram Muthoka presented the award to the Governor in his Nyeri office on Wednesday.
The governor while appreciating the award also expressed his commitment to supporting the initiatives by the National Government for the benefit of the people of Nyeri.
He assured the team of improved A.S.K shows in future in order to boost food security and create jobs nationally.
Others present were Central Kenya A.S.K branch Chairman Patrick Karinga and several other officials.
