Othaya constituency parliamentary aspirant on Usawa Kwa Wote political party displaying his nomination certificate outside the party headquarters yesterday.
Gakuna Njima Castro, was issued with the certificate and is now expected to present it before the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) later in the month as the official aspirant.
After being issued with the certificate, Castro who graduated last year, took to his Facebook page saying, “today, I received my Nomination certificate at Usawa house, Nairobi as the duly nominated candidate for Othaya Parliamentary seat in the August 9,2022 election. I want to encourage all Othaya fresh lieutenants, soldiers, supporters and people of good will that we are sure of our ways and we are in for the game until we are announced victors”.
He added, “to our antagonists, sympathizers and destiny destroyers, you will be in for a rude shock. We only know how to win elections, no matter the means.
Castro is expected to battle it with among others, the Incumbent who is the Jubilee party aspirant Gichuki Mugambi, former CDF chairman Wambugu Wainaina alias Mt Kenya who is the UDA party nominee, The New Democrats (TND) Lawrence Kagwi and Chama Cha Kazi (CCK) Wakili Ngunjiri
