Police In Kisii Are Investigating The Cold-Blooded Murder Of Lucy Boke, A 23-Year-Old First-Year Student At Kisii National Polytechnic

Boke, a mother of a nine-month-old baby, was fatally stabbed by her boyfriend at Jogoo estate in the outskirts of Kisii town.
Witnesses reported that the boyfriend, who had travelled from Kuria in Migori county, arrived at 6:00 pm and attacked Boke, leaving her with severe stab wounds.
After the brutal incident, the boyfriend locked himself inside the house, prompting Kisii Poly students to force entry and retaliate, inflicting serious injuries on him.
Kisii Central Sub-county police commander Isaac Kimwele confirmed the tragic event, mentioning that the motive behind the attack remains unknown.
The police recovered a blood-stained knife at the crime scene, and Boke’s body was taken to Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital mortuary awaiting for autopsy, while the boyfriend received medical treatment at the same facility.
