A story is narrated about hyper active dogs that went to hunt after lengthy hours of hunting they were lucky to catch their chase and killed it. Happy that they have succeeded in getting something to eat they took time to rest.
Owing to the tiring task they had undertaken they feel asleep even before eating their catch. At the same time the lazy dogs moved slowly looking for a catch and eventually came across their hyperactive colleagues who were already asleep with the catch placed besides them they felt happy that there is something they can eat.
They wasted no time so they started consuming it till there was nothing left. When the energetic ones woke up they found nothing to eat as their catch has already been consumed.
A similar case happens to the people who are talented but they do not take enough caution to utilize and safeguard the yields of their efforts.
Some people are advantaged enough to be rich. They bring their children in luxurious lifestyles but some of them fail to teach their kids to use their skills appropriately to generate and safeguard wealth. Having plenty at their disposal the kids are fond of overusing and at times misusing this wealth until it is exhausted. So you find them watering down all the efforts of their parents.
When you are a teacher a well-trained one who scored good grades at school and is able to respond to almost every academic question posed to you in your area of specialization but you fail to attend a huge number of classes to an extent that you do not cover even a half of the syllabus your knowledge will not help your students to excel in the exams as they will find a lot of questions which will be strange to them much as they could pass the topics that you have taught them.

Those that are in their last year of the basic school spend a whole year knowing and being regarded as the most educated students in their school and it is much prestigious but once the year is over and they join secondary schools they find that they are the most junior students in their new school. Those who do not proceed with education may have an attitude of belittling the others thinking that they are the cream of the society unaware of how they can be treated if they proceed with the next level of schooling.
A highly talented musician who verbally abuses his fans may fell out of their favour no matter how impactful his songs are to their fans. They may not to have him as the role model to them and their children.
