They are prepared to cope with the demands of playing for Manchester United they should do because they are here”.
He has also expressed that he will have to show what Manchester United is and the way it will be playing. “The most important thing for me is identity. So since DAY one we will start with our identity, from the first game. We are Manchester United. It’s the biggest club in England”, Ruben says.
“Manchester United is the engine of the Premier League. We know that we are the engine of the football. The history must inspire us, so I want to do something special in this special club. We have to address that even if it’s long time since we won the Premier League and try to win again”. Ruben has also clarified his concern the team not have won the Premier league since 2013 and he will look into managing and doing winning it.
The manager has also promised to defend players when it is appropriate, recalling how the former manager who was sacked used to defend them by saying they are young and developing. “How to play, how to press, these small things, small details. So if I have to say one thing, my main goal, my first goal, is identity. I will do everything for the team. I will defend my players if I have to all the time, against everybody. That is a key point for me”.
Rúben Amorim encourages the fans and the team that he will do everything to bring its glory back.” I will try to do everything to put this club in the place that it belongs. I will do everything to win”.
