Worth Noting:
- More than 75% of skilled personnel are frustrated today because they don’t have a clear cut vision of how they want to monetize and maximize their skills.
- Mind you, I am not saying that you should be “all out simply for money”, but always remember that ” It is money that will still pay the bills”.
- It is important and more precious to invest in what you love and not something you were forced to do.
- One of the most sweetest part of doing what you love is; whether money comes from it at the initial stage or not, “it will not kill your morale”, but then, if on the long run you seem to be walking in circles yet you energy is being drained either physically and mentally, then you should pause and restrategize!
When I was about to set up a sustainable firm in 2018, the first thing I told people was “I was not out for money but my goal is to make impact” through my services.
I remember how a friend of mine laughed me to scorn, and he said; “Juliet stop talking as though you do not need money”, yes! I understand the fact that you are in search of better ways to transform lives, but stop acting like money isn’t important!
Seriously, I have never thought to analyse my goals from that perspective. You know a lot of times, we want to set up businesses, organizations or firms with no clear cut goal in view.
Like where do you see this business in the next five years?
What kind of services do you want to offer and how do you intend to reach the right audience?
How many persons can actually boast of a distinct business with topnotch plans in view?
Research has shown that about 75% of businesses fold within two to five years of operation. Why?
No proper planning and accountability!
So how do you intend to grow?
Until you are able to design a proper business model for yourself, one that will guide your operations and how you run your firm.

The truth remains that, PASSION is not enough, it is until you develop “Distinct Strategies” and mode of operation that will serve as a funnel to fuel your hustle, then you may never grow!
If it takes hiring a coach or someone who can take you through maximizing your talent for productivity, please do so to keep you in sane.
So when putting out to set up that company, business or firm, try as much as you can to weigh your opportunities and know what works best for you.
But bottom line still remains that, this post is exclusive to only those “skillful in what they do”. Please if you’re among those who do not know their onion, do not bother expecting returns until your FOOD/PACKAGE is ready and well garnished.
