Collaborative Poem by:

Gregory Mwendwa [Poet Greg]
Like a blind man, this rash
tours the street pavements
Chewing life as to hard bones
War artilleries discharging, mounding
On life’s privacy with an itch
Like this painful hard cored sole
Hope inseminated in the dark
Womb of time
Copulated prices grandiloquently
Rising
Dampened market floors continue
To slick and volute in this circus
And the masochists cry in silence
Raped in the dock of injustice
Which they say is the new chapter
In favour of all
Monasticism and monastic order
Is no longer
But diluted to bad taste in these
Streets of Topsy-Turvyness
Where vices against humanity
Remain polted
In the dark cacoon of holy gates
Of celibacy.
For how long will this doom delve
Into justfullness
And its luminary pin points the filthy?
That monasticism may regain morals
And righteous make the earth saver
Latinical rapere should be stigmatized
In all religions
That the market floors might
Retain honour
And people uprightly retain holiness
In their so called doctrinal observance!
