The success of leadership usually lies on mentorship of the youth and young generation into better leaders in future. The question is, will this young leadership produce fruits??. In our country Kenya for example, the newly elected government in general under the leadership of president William Samoei Ruto together with his deputy Rigathi Gachagua agreed that when their Time to leave government will come they would have mentored majority of youths into better leaders to make sure that they have proper transmission in the Kenya kwanza formation.

However, after the general election held on 9th of august 2022, the citizens made a transition of electing young leaders for example the Bomet women representative Hon Linet Chepkorir, Njeri Maina of Kirinyaga, Muthoni Marubu of Lamu and Nyandarua county senator John Methu all these are some of the young elected leaders.

Moreover, the mentorship of these young leaders is the way to go for the nation’s future, and stability .This gave motivation to the youth to aspire to be future Kenyan leaders. The citizens performed their right by voting for the leaders of their choice and they expect good governance from them. It is now time for the citizens to know if the youth leadership will undertake their roles efficiently.
